The United States of America. A construction from the past, still existing, where many freedom-seeking people united in states that united into a federation. And it became, gradually, big and powerful, and much talked about. It appears in talks about technology, warfare, and greed. And is often just called “America”, for historical reasons, even though it occupies only a fraction of the American continents. In the USA, everything is big, or becomes big – or fail. There’s no room for middle-sized or small. And big can be dominant.
