A very specific thing, also known as the Foucault pendulum – this scientist put a large pendulum in the Paris Observatory in 1851 as a proof that the Earth was rotating. It is also the name of a Blog site by Jørgen Winther, from where some of the articles here have been taken (the site showing in different ways how certain things in the world, and in life, tend to move between two extremes, but not coming back to exactly the same place twice – there’s always a twist).
