While all writing in a sense is fictional – the writer decides what to put into the text and how to shape it, leaving out millions of details from the universe and narrowing down on a tiny subset of reality – well, there still is a category of texts that are not even from the real world. All made up. Maybe with elements from the world we can see, to make it plausible and recognizable, but still. Stories can have many forms, but they are made to make us think and imagine, more than to inform us.
