We are a product of our history, and the history of everybody else. The world is connected, and looking through the insightful glasses that the past gives us, we can see many individual connections between events, but also larger patterns – and how they repeat, with a twist, without people in the now always paying attention to it. History can provide valuable guidelines for decisions, that will improve the present and the future – if we just not choose to ignore them.
